Application: Stable T1 Signal Level for Cell Phone Sites
Some cell phone base station units require a more stable T-1 signal at a higher signal level than is provide by a local telco provider. How can the signals be boosted to solve the problem?
The T-Extender can be used as a simple repeater to maintain valid DSX-1 level T1 signals. This is the only application where a single T1 Extender is used. Normally these units are used in pairs to extend a T1 demarc up to 5000 feet away.
